Welcome

The Friends of Our Lady of Tintern is an ecumenical group who recognise Tintern Abbey as a living pilgrimage site and not just an historic ruin. We arrange an annual Ecumenical Service of Sung Vespers and were instrumental in commissioning the carved stone statue of Our Lady of Tintern which is in the Abbey Church. We are also keen to encourage the Marian Way, a pilgrimage walk centred around Tintern.

Please take a look at our site and particularly our history and please join us for Sung Vespers held on the second Sunday of September each year. We welcome donations as we rely on donations from our supporters.
